Alternative Service Options in Oregon

Alternative Service Fee

The fee covers our time to complete the court-approved method of service and preparation of supporting documentation:

  • Standard USPS postage and tracking for mail options
  • Collection of photos and screenshots for text, email, or posting
  • Preparation of an Affidavit of Alternative Service with exhibits attached

There is no charge for us to e-file your motion and proposed order. You only pay the $60 fee once a judge approves your motion and you ask us to complete the alternative service.

Documentation

What You Receive From Us

After we complete the court-authorized alternative service, we provide:

  • An Affidavit of Alternative Service describing how and when service was carried out
  • Exhibits showing proof of the actions taken (photos, screenshots, tracking pages, or other supporting materials)
  • Clear references so the affidavit and exhibits can be attached or referenced in your court file as needed

Filing support

E-Filing Your Motion & Proposed Order

We can assist by E-Filing your Motion and Proposed Order with the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon in the county where your case is filed. This helps ensure your request for alternative service is submitted to the court in a timely manner.

  • No fee for us to E-File the request
  • Typical review time is approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on the court’s workload
  • You only pay the $60 Alternative Service Fee once a Judge approves your motion and you ask us to complete the service

If you are represented by an attorney, they may prefer to submit the filings directly. Always follow your attorney’s instructions and the local court’s procedures.
